In this issue, we gather observations made while installing an OKD HA Cluster.

We adopt a newbie perspective and all suggestions aim to enhance the adoption of Harmony by new users. We used the example example/OKD_installation.

Problems/bugs

  • All OPNsense package installation fail #189
  • Harmony Crash without explicit message if data directory (and appropriate content) is not present in the example
  • Provide an Unmanaged Switch implementation #187
  • Optional OPNsense language configuration #188

Possible enhancements

  • Enhance the documentation for example/OKD_installation and/or provide a dedicated documentation for the installation of HACluster
  • Enhance the Harmony cli/tui output and messages
  • Enhance the configuration process to provide credentials
  • Document how to use the credentials "facility"

Questions

  • How to configure Opnsense? For exemple, change the ssh configuration or add users and give them permissions/role?

[] unable to open database file -> needs documentation to understand what is required, where, etc
[] redhat secret -> paste secrets doesnt work well in terminal
